Be Part Of The Change

This is another huge step for me. I hope it resonates with people because this is one hell of a journey and I need all of the emotional support I can get. I’ve had some dark days and some sleepless nights to get this far. I appreciate everyone who has reached out, contributed, encouraged me and pushed me.



I’m about to shift the direction of this whole project. I will be seeking out people who have overcome any kind of adversity and asking how and why. I will be seeking out people who are making a difference in their own unique ways. I will also be searching for ways to help people continue to overcome their own challenges. I’m hoping to uncover the blueprint that turns underdogs into champions.



Every time my life fell apart, the life I built in its place was better. Cassie is having the same experience. Loads of people have stories of losing it all only to look back on the disaster as the best thing that ever happened to them. We all know that, as it’s happening, it doesn’t generally feel that way but something better is always on the horizon if you’re willing to mobilise yourself.

I think Amy’s little experiment turned out more interesting than either of us thought it would. She didn’t even want to look at the videos at the end of the month but when she finally did she realised that a lot of the assumptions she had made about herself weren’t accurate. All of the benefits of keeping a journal aside, I think the process of simply practicing communication and becoming good at it, is really good for your self-esteem. Practicing anything and becoming good at it is definitely a good building block for a happier, healthier mind.



My mind has been consumed by all kinds of things lately. It’s actually become more of a mess since I shot this video but I’m learning from it all. I’m going to try to open up to you guys more. I know a lot of personal development comes off as obnoxious crap demanding you stay positive all the time but hopefully you know by now I’m not one of those people. I know the real struggles and I don’t try to pretend they exist. Instead I try to share insights and stories about how I deal with my own life, in the hope that someone out there will find value in it.



Creativity helps people cope. It doesn’t matter what you create or how you create it. Each creation represents a moment in your life. The challenges. The victories. The defeats. Over time creativity will allow you to express who you are. When you look back over your creations you will see clearly who you are, what your strengths are, what your weaknesses are and what has shaped you. This will help you to develop self-awareness. Don’t underestimate the power of knowing who you truly are. What you truly are, is something far greater than you assume you are. You just need to provide yourself evidence of that. So start documenting everything.
